Your kidneys help to filter waste materials from your body, flushing them out through the urine. Sometimes, they may be affected by certain
conditions that prevent them from accurately filtering out these waste, causing them to either filter waste too slowly or leak them into the urine. A few of these conditions include diabetes, high blood pressure, and high cholesterol levels.

Regular testing can help detect abnormalities in your kidney, allowing your physician to take measures that can halt the progression of the condition.

Kidney tests can be done through blood testing or urine testing. Each test measures various aspects of your kidney function.
